Hosted by Bear Behind Events at the Holiday Inn Runcorn, the Business Seminar Day is your opportunity to network with local small businesses, social enterprises and business leaders.  Breakfast networking will be followed by four seminars to help you plan the growth of your business.

I’ll be speaking about using Twitter for business.  This is my invite to you as a small business in Widnes, Runcorn and the surrounding areas to join me and others at the Business Seminar Day.  There’s a transcript below for those who prefer to read.

Now the day will start at around 8am with some networking, so don’t forget your business cards! And do rescue me from a corner somewhere because anyone who knows me knows I don’t do networking very well at all!

The day then goes on with some business seminars, which is where I come in. I’ll be talking about Twitter and using Twitter to promote your local business. If twitter baffles you and you don’t know where to start or even what to do with it, I would love you to come along because we’ll be talking about all sorts of wonderful stuff all crammed into a nice 40 minute segment.

We’ll start with what’s missing off your profile and we’ll go on to talk about hashtags and tweet-chats. How to use them, what to tweet and when to tweet, how to find out when to tweet as well because that always helps! Tips, tricks and tools of the trade to help make your twitter life easier.
