Computer says, “No”
This week can ony be described as a battle of wills between me and my old lappy. The time is coming soon to replace him.
Soon…
I’m hanging on and on because I really don’t want to face Windows 8, nor go through the hell to find receipts/product codes etc. for software I have on here.
Add the lappy battling to managing (once again) to kill my blog. The joys of conflicting plugins and trying to find out one at a time who the culprit is…
…when you have 50+ installed AGAIN (stop playing with them Jan!)
Despite the battles, I have been more productive than usual (although that todo list doesn’t seem to be getting any shorter!) I am very behind on the article writing challenge – behind more than I thought I would be.
I’ll keep going regardless, today is video Sunday.
The several hours spent scanning and rescanning the beast whilst editing a guide on self esteem earlier this week has prodded me into quite a bit of introspection. So, as computer once again said no – this time to pluging in the webcam, it would be easy for me to make another excuse not to post. I am very good at giving myself excuses not to do MY stuff.
Instead, I’ve used it as a prompt to dig out this Tedx Talk I was watching earlier in the week. It really resonated with me and my “stuck again” feeling. It’s just over 20 minutes long, grab a beverage of your choice and watch. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
F— YOU – How To Stop Screwing Yourself
Over to you…
How do you feel?

I refuse to get Windows 8 too. I’m looking at a new computer and Ill be getting Windows 7…or til Microsoft gets smart and makes a new update to Windows 8…cause it’s awful.
I love that video by the way. I’ve seen her do other videos and she’s so blunt and to the point. I think she has soem very valid points, especially about “fine”. I can so relate to what she’s getting at. After seeing this, it reminded me I don’t want to be fine anymore. Time to kick it up a notch. I may have to share this one on my blog!

I’d never seen her before Misty – stumbled on her last week. The lady speaks sense!
Get kicking Misty! You’re wonderful, amazing… not fine 🙂
