By placing an order with My Local Business Online you agree to the following terms and conditions:
General Conditions
My Local Business Online will carry out work only where an agreement is provided. An order is defined as a written or verbal contract between My Local Business Online and the client, this includes telephone and email agreements. We will only carry out work for clients who are over the age of 18.
Website Optimization
My Local Business Online cannot accept liability for any change in rankings, or drop off in the position of your website due to changes in the algorithms of the search engines or the factors that they use to rank websites.
Search Engine Optimization relies on many external factors such as changes to the way search engines rank websites, as such we cannot guarentee rankings. However, a pro-active approach to optimizing your website will positively affect the amount of traffic and hits you will receive to your site.
My Local Business Online only uses approved techniques and we aim to provide a top ten ranking in less than six months. My Local Business Online will reserves the right to refuse to use any material which may be deemed inappropriate, offensive or illegal.
Due to the work involved payment is required in advance for optimization and we are unable to offer a refund of any money in relation to this type of service.
Websites
Whilst every endeavour will be made to ensure that the website and any scripts or programs are free of errors, My Local Business Online cannot accept responsibility for any losses incurred due to malfunction of any part of the website.
The client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to Local Business Online all materials required to complete the site to the agreed standard and within the set deadlines.
We cannot take responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by the client. We reserve the right to refuse any material of a copyrighted nature.
The website will remain the property of My Local Business Online until all outstanding fees are paid in full.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required with all of our projects before any work can be carried out.
Once a website has been completed the final balance of payment is then due. Non payment will result in legal action being taken if necessary. Once full payment is received for a website, it is assumed that the project has been completed to the clients satisfaction and no refunds can be offered.
Hosting
When My Local Business Online recommends hosting companies to host websites no guarantees whatsoever can be made as to the availability or interruption of this service. My Local Business Online cannot accept liability for losses caused by the unavailability or interruption of this service, or for loss of sales, profits or any other consequential or special loss.
Payment
It is our policy that any outstanding accounts for work carried out by My Local Business Online, its affiliates or associates are required to be paid in full no later than 30 days from the date of the invoice unless by prior arrangement.
A 50% deposit is required from all new clients before any work on projects commences.
If accounts are not settled or My Local Business Online have not been contacted regarding any delay, access to the website may be denied and web pages removed. We will then persue payment through the Small Claims Court.
