Do Yell still offer a free listing?

The short answer is, “Yes”

Yell have changed focus over the years.  With the growing popularity of the Internet, it has been a case of adapt or die.

Yell now offer a whole range of marketing solutions, and adding your business free listing online is an introduction to them.

The free listing also is used in their paper phone directory too.  The Yell paper directory has got smaller and since the last edition, free listings have been in alphabetical order at the back of the book.

How do I add my business to Yell?

This is another question that seems to crop up a lot.  I use the direct link to the free listings page, so haven’t noticed any issues.  It would appear that Yell are not making it super easy to add your business to the free listings as much as they used to do.

Yell is just one of the directories you should add your business details to.  Adding your business information to the local directories and review sites creates your local online footprint, helps your Google +Local rankings and of course makes you more visible online.
