Blogging for small business – do you want to feature in my interview series?

March 4, 2013 by Jan Kearney

We can Blog it!Are you a small business owner who uses blogging to generate leads and clients?

I’m looking for a variety of businesses to feature in my interview series.  The interviews will be collated and used as a bonus to my forthcoming small business blogging online course and will be published on Kindle.

Every business that takes part will have a bio and links back to their website and blog

Do you want your small business featured too?

I know blogging works, it works for me…  I want to help inspire other small and micro businesses to start and maintain a blog for their business.

Often, businesses start blogging then give up because they don’t see results immediately.  Or give up because they don’t know what to blog about.  Or turn their blog over to SEO writers, who yes get rankings but gain no business because the copy is keyword stuffed rubbish for ranking only.

By showing the successes of other small businesses, sharing why they blog and what they gain from it, I hope that you can help me encourage others to start blogging for business too.

What am I looking for?

Are you a small business owner with a blog that is central to your online marketing?

Well, that’s about it…

I’m looking for a wide range of small business sectors to take part.  At the moment, I have volunteers from social media consultants (not surprising, they *should* be blogging!), coaches, VA’s, counsellors, and gift e-commerce.  I’d love to see an even wider range of sectors!

Want to take part?

Simply get in touch and I’ll send you a copy of the questionnaire.

I look forward to hearing from you 🙂

I would raise my hand if I knew you wanted filler copy, but the most I can bring your book is refunds. ROFL

Seriously, it would depend on the cost. Do I hand over my first born, too? She doesn’t pick up after herself, so….

Jan, got a ‘server not found’ error message when I tried the ‘get in touch link’ (of course, only after I crafted and tried to send a message to you). Not sure if it’s an issue on my end or yours. Count me in for Horse Sense and Cents, if you wish. We can even do a case study (before and after Jan’s professional touch) if you wish. Can you just send the questionnaire to me e-mail address?

I did get a message from you, Nanette – and replied a few days ago now. Really need to keep up with my blog comments! Tried my contact form, seems to be going through ok now too.

I don’t think I got your message back. I’ll check my spam folder tomorrow.

    Hi Jan,
Great idea, I’m not using blogging an awful lot at the moment as I am concept testing some pretty cool SEO stuff. However, if you want someone to do something on aspects of SEO give me a shout. Once I have proven then I will be doing more blogging again.
    Thanks

    Derek
