Easy Facebook Cover Graphics

If you are like me, creating Facebook cover images is not the easiest thing in the world!  I found this nifty tool a couple of days ago and recommend you give it a try.  If I can use it, there’s hope for everyone!

Timeline Slicer Pro helps you to create Facebook cover banners for your business page or personal profile fast.  Here’s a quick video showing you how you can easily create Timeline graphics, from the banner to the profile picture and the app images.

Get Timeline Slicer Pro

Timeline Slicer Pro cost just $14.95 and comes with a 60 money back gaurantee.  To us Brits, that’s around £11 including VAT.  It’s saved me half a days work already, well worth it!

Timeline Slicer Pro - create Facebook cover images easilyHi it’s Jan at My Local Business Online.  I want to show you a really nifty too, I like my nifty tools!   This is a Facebook cover creator, both for your Facebook page and your Facebook personal profile.  It includes the profile image and the app images as well.

It’s called Timeline Slicer Pro.  Now I came across this a couple of days ago and went ahead and bought it.  I think it was $14.  If you know me at all I haven’t got a creative bone in my body and graphics really baffle me.  I do use GIMP to cut and paste and do the odd thing.  But it really isn’t my forte and I can spend a lot of time messing about and getting awful results!

So I saw this Timeline Slicer Pro and thought, oh that’s a jolly good idea and I tried it on my Facebook business page yesterday.  I got a fairly reasonable result after 2 minutes of throwing things together, which was really, really nice.  Then this morning a friend of mine popped up and said she needed some Facebook cover sized images because there was some offer on from Moo business cards and she wanted to use some of her quotes that she puts out.  The problem is they are the wrong size for Facebook cover images because they’re sized at 400 pixels.  That means they go nicely on the Facebook timeline but they’re not cover image sized.  So they were skewing and doing all sorts of wonderful things.

Within an hour we had some nice images, Facebook cover sized.  This is just two of them, we have a good half a dozen in an hour.  That $14 has paid for itself at least twice just in saving me time!

So here’s the inside of the Timeline Slicer Pro.  There is a video showing you how to use it.  There are cover templates you can download as well.  Let’s just see how easy it is to use.  If I can use it and I don’t do graphics, then you know it can’t be that difficult!

Let’s find an image – one day I am going to sort this lot out!  I’m going to do this one for a Facebook personal page cover, which is my personal page.  I want to direct people over to my business page.

It’s just a case of dragging and dropping, you can do all sorts of things with this.

I’ll put this image over here, actually I’ll put it here.  Click that and add some text.  Drag it to where you want it.  Click the text box and type in – I stop you feeling like this…

You’ll see that the text is white.  We can change the text colour just by dragging and dropping.  You can change the font, there’s a few to choose from.  I don’t think we’ll go for quake!   We’ll make it a little bit bigger.

We can download everything, or download single items clicking the arrows.  I’m just going to add a bit more text basically directing people back over to my business Facebook page. I don’t really use my personal page.

Make it smaller so everything fits.  I’ll move this image down a bit too, like that.  I’ll add more text, click there…

See what I mean, design a cover on the go.  I’ll pick this one up and move it here.  Put that one there and pick this up and put it here.  Make it smaller…  Change this to a purply colour too, add another piece of text.  Click on it.  Change the font and the colour again.

Tada one Facebook cover that has taken not even 5 minutes.  I’m not creative, but this is a really great way of creating quick facebook covers on the fly for both your personal Timeline and your business page.  It’s got lots of templates you can use too.  Let me see if I can find them – as you can see there are lots of cover background templates you can use to create your own graphics as well.

Timeline Slicer Pro is well worth a try.  Pop over and get it from mylocalbusinessonline.co.uk/facebookcovers.  The address is on the screen now and you’ll find it below the video too.

What a cool tool. I found it challenging to fit an imagine to the new FB cover design with text. This makes it easy. Thanks for the great video highlighting how it works.

Hi Nanette – I need more practice with it to let the old creative side out! Had quite a bit over the weekend. Timeslicer does make it easy, I can see new covers coming up soon 🙂

Hi Galina, I really do recommend it. Timeslicer has been great fun and not teeth gnashing at all. I’m surprised it’s going so cheaply. Enjoy it!
